We love organizing and we always know there’s something to do! Even if it’s not always tidy, we like knowing where everything is because it can be so easy for things to get misplaced We love using baskets, trays, and containers because it makes things more visible . So, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite organizational finds.

Ways to Celebrate New Year's Eve at Home This Year!
We know this New Year’s is going to look a little different this year. So we have found some creative ways to make it extra special this year!
Prepare the perfect cocktail
No more waiting in line for drinks!!! We suggest to stock up on your favorite spirits, beer, wine, and more. This is the time to make some extremely festive drink like this:
INGREDIENTS
1 (750ml) bottle dry white wine
1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice
1 cup vodka
1 cup St. Germain (elderflower liquor)
2 (12 ounce) ginger beersplus more for topping, if desired
2 grapefruits or blood oranges, sliced
arils from 1 pomegranate, plus more for serving
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large pitcher, combine the wine, pomegranate juice, vodka, St. Germain, grapefruit or oranges, pomegranate arils, and cinnamon sticks. Stir. Transfer to the fridge and chill for up to 1 day.
2. Rim your glasses with cinnamon sugar, if desired
3. Just before serving, add the ginger beer. Fill each glass with ice and pour the punch over top. Garnish with pomegranate arils. Be Merry!!
cinnamon sugar for the rims of your glasses (optional)
Snacks
Even though you are not cooking for multiple people it doesn’t mean you can’t have tasty meals for yourself. Make these party appetizers to last all night or serve holiday appetizers for two. One thing you can never go wrong with? A charcuterie board, either sweet or savory.
INGREDIENTS
2 (8-ounce) blocks cream cheese, softened
2 cups finely grated white cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons finely grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
1 whole pecan, for topping
3 tablespoons chopped chives
INSTRUCTIONSPlace the cream cheese in the bowl of your food processor and blend until creamy. Pulse in the white cheddar and parmesan.
Toss the chopped herbs and chives together. Add most of them to the food processor, leaving about 2 tablespoons out to coat the outside of the cheese ball. Add in the garlic powder, salt and pepper. Blend until combined.
Scoop the mixture out with a spatula. I like to scoop it into a piece of plastic wrap. Wrap it up and refrigerate it for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, you can form it into a tree-like shape (if you wish!) or form it into a ball. Roll it in the herbs and chopped pecans. You can either wrap it back up (depending on how long you will keep it in the fridge) or place it on a plate. You want to refrigerate it for 30 more minutes before serving.
Before serving, add a whole pecan on top. Serve with crackers, pretzels, pita chips - or any veggies of your choice!
Be sure to dress up!
Either you can dress up wear your favorite loungewear! Your home is now your runway. If you feel better in sweatpants, go for it! But if you want to get in the holiday spirit, you can't go wrong with a sparkly new outfit.
Board Games
We love playing board games and it’s a great way to pass the time before the ball drops. Everything from Monopoly to Medium to Twister should be on the table here.
Virtual Mystery Party
Who doesn’t love a good mystery party?! Well, we’ve a way to do this virtually with your friends! Virtual murder mystery parties are a thing, and they're perfect for New Year's Eve. For example, My Mystery Party hosts many virtual adult mystery parties, including a New Year's Eve party, a masquerade ball, a 1985 party, and more.
Holiday gifts that give back!
We know this holiday season is going to be different, but it’s still a time of giving, love, and gratitude. Here are some gifts you can put together during this time when so many are apart.
We love the idea f assembling a gift box for those in need. It could be a new tradition to start this year.
Kynd Kits are an activity for the whole family. They are a program of Project Helping. They are a nonprofit with the mission of improving mental wellness through kindness.
Cleantheworld.org has a similar business model. Finding soap and other cleaning supplies for those in need, so you can arrange a kit and send it!
Together We Rise is helping kids without permanent homes by providing colorful bags to tote their items around in.
The Foundation for Hospital Art Each Patient Pack includes 4 pre-drawn canvases, art supplies and instructions (for shipments within the United States there will also be a prepaid UPS return label included). We place small dots of color on the canvases so that everyone knows what color to paint.
Knots of Love. Our mission at Knots of Love is to warm the hearts and heads of those experiencing traumatic hair loss. Our volunteers lovingly hand-knit and crochet caps for those struggling with treatment-induced hair loss and tiny Neonatal blankets for fragile new lives in incubators. Knots of Love caps and blankets serve as a constant reminder to the patient and their loved ones that they are not alone. All Knots of Love handmade creations are distributed free of charge to hospitals and treatment centers throughout the country -- and most importantly at no cost to the patient receiving the caps.
A child in need
The Salvation Army's "Angel Tree" program is online this year, making it easier than ever to shop for a child in need.
Small businesses
If there were ever a year to "shop small," 2020 would be it. Small businesses are suffering and any gift purchased from one spreads cheer twice: first to the seller and then to the lucky recipient.
Etsy is a great resource for holiday gifts! Consider buying from bookshop.org. They partner with independent book sellers across the country to send your dollars to stores that really need it.
Supporting Black-owned businesses
https://www.supportblackowned.com/ helps you find shops and services all over the US.
The EatOkra app helps you find Black-owned restaurants and food services.
Larger retailers doing good
Finally, many larger retailers are giving back this season.
If you are looking for a present for someone worried about the environment, Patagonia gives a portion of all profits to environmental causes.
Sock company Bombas donates a pair of socks to a needy person, for every pair sold.
Yoobi sells colorful pens, pencils and stationery, and for every item purchased, they donate a school supply to a child in need.
