Happy Monday! Pantone for the first time has announced not one, but two colors of the year! It’s a blend of two colors: Rose Quartz (a kind of mineral pink) and Serenity (a light blue). This is a moment that will go down in history! Pantone stated, “societal movements toward gender equality and fluidity, the consumer’s increased comfort with using color as a form of expression, a generation that has less concern about being typecast or judged and an open exchange of digital information that has opened our eyes to different approaches to color usage.”
We could not agree more! We love how this is the beginning of removing gender stereotypes. Since the announcement, businesses are doing their best to incorporate both of these colors before 2016 arrives.
