We look forward to this day every year! Tonight is the FIRST NIGHT presented by The Dallas Opera. This year is the kick off of the 2015-2016 "Seeking The Human Element" season.The night begins with our red carpet entrances where we are going to feature our gorgeous models in the original opera interpretations at the Dallas Opera Winspear House at 5:30PM.The Opera-themed gowns will include designs by Elizabeth Anyaa, Michael Faircloth, Geoffrey Henning, Khahn Nguyen and Edo Popken revealed at FIRST SIGHT Fashion Show. The designs will be modeled alongside the “red carpet entrance” to the Winspear Opera House.
At 6:00PM the pre-performance dinner will be begin! It's chaired by Anne and Steven Stodghill and catered by Wolfgang Puck. Finally, at 8:00PM the world premiere production of Great Scott By Jake Heggie and Terrence McNally, the Linda and Mitch Hart Season Opening Night Performance will begin.
Don't forget the FIRST NIGHT After Party is from 11:00PM to 1:30AM. It's going to be a night we will not forget.
