Kybella Treatment!

We all have something that we would like to improve on!  For me, I wanted to find a solution to my sagging skin under my chin.When I was 19 years old, they surgically removed my largest gland under my tongue for fear of cancer.  NO CANCER but a long scar. Now that I am in my 50's, the skin is buckling around the scare and adding to the fluffy tissue.

To be honest, I really didn't want the cost of a mini face lift nor a neck lift, which I had explored already at $10k and up. So I went to my friend Sherry Smith at Skin Technology in Irving, http://www.skintechnologyinc.com/index.html whom I have trusted for years with my Botox and she said she had a non-evasive solution.

 

Kybella was the answer for me!  Kybella is deoxycholic acid developed by Botox and released by the FDA for approval about six months ago. Great treatment for adults with moderate-to-severe fat below the chin, known as submental fat.

Instead of using the photos from their websites, I did my own experiment...here are my before, during and after pictures! 

Does it hurt...it is uncomfortable during the procedure, use ice to cool off the sting.  

It hurts that day and the next. You may bruise like I did, but makeup covered it up for one week and remained swollen for two weeks. It was numb for almost a month underneath. One month later, it is still shrinking and numbness is gone.  Ready, this is permanent and usually takes two visits!  

 

For a woman who didn't get botox until she was 41, trust me!  This worked!
