2013 ESTEEM Fashion Show was a huge success! Many thanks to Tootsies and all of our sponsors for their continued support! As the producer and founder of ESTEEM, I could not have been more proud.

The ESTEEM Fashion Show was created to help promote a positive body image and healthy self esteem. After modeling since I was 15 years old, I see how unfortunate it is that the modeling industry is stereotyped by eating disorders. The reality is this disease can affect anyone. After losing a college friend to the disease, I was inspired to launch an event that encourages women, girls, men and boys to love their bodies and understand that the “front-cover look” is not necessarily representative of a healthy or “perfect” body. Through this event, my aim has two meanings. Not only to increase awareness about eating disorders but also to help those who may have an eating disorder. It is through this increased awareness that we can empower others to recognize the signs and symptoms in friends or family to help prevent losses like that of my friend years ago.

The ESTEEM Fashion show was held at TOOTSIES in Dallas on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:30 AM. With Debbie Denmon as our Mistress of Ceremonies, we had a sold out crowd of over 200 guests that stay to shop, keeping the cash registers hot for hours following the fashion show!

About RSC Show!

As I reflect on the past, I thought that this article should be dedicated to how RSC Show Productions began. Having been in the fashion industry for over 30 years, I can definitely say I have thankfully learned a thing or two. After starting RSC Show Productions back in 2000, having since then been producing a variety of events including fashion shows, charities, and corporate events…I knew I couldn't model forever. Although it was the best job ever, I was ready to start a family. Therefore, I had the passion to continue working in this industry in some other form. Modeling has taught me how to handle lighting, staging, style and choreograph the models for a show; simply anything it takes to put on a runway show. RSC Show Productions is the product of utilizing these crucial skills that have allowed me to remain in the modeling industry and do what I love. Beyond just producing fashion shows, I have been fortunate to venture out, to produce a wide range of events. Some of the successful events I had the pleasure to produce include the Dallas Opera First Night Red Carpet, Baylor Transplant AMR Symposium Dinner, and Fashion Group International's 45th Annual Dallas Career Day.Through all of these experiences, I have learned to adapt to the clients’ needs… this is what has made clients seek out the services of my company and have made RSC Show Productions the premiere production company in north Texas.
